The Bill Dooley Scholarship Program was established in honor of Coach Bill Dooley, long time, award winning Atlantic Coast Conference Head Football Coach. Each year the GWSHOF awards scholarships in recognition of each of its inductees into the Hall of Fame.

The scholarship is in the amount of $1,500 and awarded to a high school selected by each inductee. The high schools will award the scholarships to student athletes that are good students and citizens, and who have made a contribution to their respective sport.
